- Write a Personal Narrative about a small moment
- Take multiple pieces of writing through the entire writing process: brainstorming, drafting, revision, and editing

- Have your child write short stories with a clear beginning, middle, and end
- Help them brainstorm small, important life moments
- Ask to see their writing at least once a week - their drafts will in in their Writer's Notebook or Google Drive
